By the end of the first quarter of 2020, the Central Bank of Egypt, in partnership with Nile University, celebrated a full year of achievements in Nilepreneurs initiative with many great accomplishments in various areas of entrepreneurship: business incubators, NilePreneurs Academy, innovation centers, and BDS Hubs.
The closing event took place at the headquarters of Nile University on March 4, 2020, in the presence of many representatives from Egyptian banks that sponsor NilePreneurs’ services; including such as: the National Bank of Egypt, BANQUE MISR, Banque du Caire, the United Bank, QNB ALAHLI, Housing & Development Bank (HDB), the Suez Canal Bank and the Industrial Development Bank. These banks are working closely with NilePreneurs initiative with the aim of supporting the national economy through strategic development projects.
The event was also attended by a number of university presidents, international and local organizations and our industriy partners such as: Ghabbour Auto, Sadco Group, Sun Prism, and others.
The Event was divided among 2 main events. The first was to showcase the full story of NilePreneurs by explaining all its projects and achievements as told by the team behind it, in addition to highlighting future projects and plans that the initiative seeks to achieve.
Then, the startups incubated by NilePreneurs started to pitch their ideas to a number of investors in an attempt to match-make between entrepreneurs and interested investors.
