Allweiler-Farid is one leading Egyptian manufacturer for water pumps. Their NT Pump is used in various applications like bevarage manufacturing, swimming pools, cooling cycles, raw water for irrigation systems, some petroleum liquids & many others.
technical Needs
They needed reverse engineering for pump components, including impeller scanning & CAD Modeling then performing CFD analysis for water pump performance as a validation for the model.
Solution Approach
The direct objective was to apply 3D Scanning & model the impeller only. But as the work flows, scope was extended to cover the whole device components to validate the overall performance which shall be closest to real application
